Membership Options

Three ways to train. One standard of coaching.

1. Small Group Classes
Up to six members per session. Individual programs. Coached start to finish.

Tracks:
DAILY RX: Strength-based. Squat, bench, deadlift. Conditioning appears but doesn’t lead.
WEIGHTLIFTING RX: Snatch, clean & jerk, plus support lifts.
FUNCTIONAL RX: Strength and conditioning combined. Big lifts, varied conditioning.

Memberships determine:
Training frequency
Program personalisation
Additional gym access beyond class (not in place of class)

2. Open Gym
Train independently with full access, including outside staffed hours. Bring a program or subscribe to a Crucible program. Numbers capped to protect space and flow.

3. Online Coaching
Train anywhere. Receive a personalised program, daily feedback through TrainHeroic, and regular Zoom check-ins. No need to be on site to be coached like it.

Getting Started - First Timers

No experience is needed.

Crucible is fully coached and beginner-friendly. Every member follows a personalised program built to their level, with hands-on coaching every session. Movements are scaled. Progress is tracked.

How it works:
Book a trial. Meet the crew. Move a little.
If you like the joint, we build a program around goals, history, and ability — then you start training in a small group session. Everything’s guided: the program, the coaching, the pace.

Getting Started - Long Timers

Already have a program - can I train at Crucible?

Yes. Members with their own programming can train at Crucible using an Open Gym membership. The space is fully equipped and capped to ensure access to platforms, racks, and equipment without crowding. It’s a practical setup for anyone looking to train independently.

Does Crucible offer programming?

Yes. We provide personalised programming for strength and conditioning, Olympic weightlifting, specific strength, and individual goals. Programs can be followed in-house or remotely, and are tailored to the member.

Who do I speak to for personalised coaching or programming?

Personalised programs at Crucible are written in-house by our coaching team. Reach out via the contact form, phone, or email, and we’ll connect you with the right coach based on your goals — whether that’s strength and conditioning, Olympic weightlifting, or a hybrid approach.

What equipment do you have available?

Crucible is outfitted with brand-new equipment, purpose-built for strength and conditioning and Olympic weightlifting. The gym includes platforms, barbells, bumper plates, squat racks, dumbbells, rowers, bikes, cable machines, leg press, leg extension and curl machines, and more. All equipment is maintained to a high standard and available for both coached sessions and Open Gym.

Can I get technique feedback if I'm not in a class?

Yes. Members on Open Gym or remote programs can receive technique feedback by uploading training videos through Gymdesk and/or booking check in sessions with their coach. This service is offered as an optional add-on to a standard membership and provides individualised coaching support outside of class settings.

Do you take comp prep athletes?

Yes. Crucible coaches work with athletes preparing for competitions in both strength and conditioning and Olympic weightlifting. Our team has experience coaching, programming, and competing in CrossFit-style events, weightlifting meets, and other performance-based competitions. Programs are tailored to the demands of the sport and the needs of the athlete.

Training outside of staffed hours
Open Gym members have access during unstaffed hours.

How do I cancel or pause a membership?
Memberships are billed weekly. A fortnight's notice is required to cancel memberships. Memberships can be paused, a holding fee may be required for small group memberships, please contact our team for further details. Processed payments are non-refundable.

Do you offer drop-in sessions?
Yes, during staffed hours. Contact us to check availability.
